Wolf Can Fly, Too

So I received a call from Caterpillar at lunch time.

Well, the call was from Balcon, which is the firm that supply engineers to Cat Advance Simulation Center.

Anyway, they call me up three month after my application and two month after the first phone call I received from CAT about a position with them. Too late now. Project Moving to Singapore for PhD has been set in motion for more than a month, and it is no longer an option to simply stop everything and stay here. And like Joan said, I've been here for too long already.

At least their action showed that I am still a talented engineer whose skill is needed in the US. Maybe I should apply for a post-Doc position, eventually, and somehow find a job after that. That's just maybe. But the most pressing issue at hand now is to get rid of my car, tough job, I know, but it has to be done, or I'll have to "lend" my car to Clara and hope she eventually get to sell it.

With that said, it feels rather good to be recognized for my achievement. And thanks, a lot, for rebuilding my self confidence. Thanks.
