So I was just reminded by my friends that I haven't update my blog for a while.
Looking back, and yeah...I really haven't update anything for almost a week. I guess packing and stuff sort of gets in the way.
Anyway, the first part of the week was spent mostly helping Joan moving out, packing, and preparing for the SGL training class. I learned a lot during the past week, and hope that I will get a chance to apply what I have learned in Singapore.
I have never thought that there would be so many little things to pack up or to throw away, I guess I could have cleaned the whole place up in time, but since Donald is moving in later in August, I left a few things here and there instead of bring them to Yih-Chun's place.
I was glad to have Yih-Chun helping me, and after helping him clean out the dance studio, I was happy to find out that he can get rid of my car for me. Well, that was quite a relief. I guess I never really wanted to leave Champaign deep within me, and just pushed back selling my car so much that I didn't really have time to sell it.
I guess a part of my was left in Champaign, with ICCF, with everyone there, but it just happened so uneventfully that even I overlooked the fact that I probably won't see them again for another few years, maybe even longer. It was kind of funny, though, as I walked out of Vineyard's main auditorium, I turned back at the door and looked at the crowd one more time, and then I saw Donald running up the aisle to meet up with me, and that definitely killed the moment.
Anyway, I will update my trip to Chicago tomorrow or the next time I'm online. For now? Lunch...lol
