Either way, it's not a pleasant feeling. Although the caffeine is definitely needed for my evening class so that I don't fall asleep in a class tought by a professor who worked in Beckman for 4 years. Yeah, I just found out that my Friday's class lecturer was from UIUC. Which sucks, 'cause he knows me now, and there's no way I can skip any classes. Like I would.

Anyway, Chinese New Year is coming up. There's really no set plan at all, since I haven't really celebrate Chinese New Year for what, like 6 years or something? I knew there's a reason that I felt more like an American than a Chinese sometimes...not. It's not like it'd matter even if I was in Taipei for it. Chinese New Year just doesn't feel the same as childhood ones, period. I never really know what happened, but the tradition just ,well, slipped out of our grasp, since ,well, "modern people doesn't need traditions." Or something like that.

It doesn't matter anyway, I am a man without root. Nothing. Nada. I have been all over the place for so long that I can't really identify myself with any single culture. Not like it matters, since I don't know where I'll end up in ANYWAYS. Only HE knows, and he's not telling me, yet. I'll know when it's time, I guess.  And I suppose that it wouldn't be too late to merge into some society even after you turn thirty. That's like...six years from now. Dang, that's a long time from now...

But yeah, happy Chinese New Year. While it lasted. You never know when a tradition will be wiped from the Earth, like the Miyans. Or the Neanderthals, not that they're "Homo Sapien" anyway. Yes, modern human wiped them out because they don't deserve to live... or not. No one deserve to die just because they have small brain capacity. Unless they are dumb enough to win the "Darwin Award."

Anyway, just ignore whatever I wrote. I'm not even going to try to update it on my Wretch account. They wouldn't be interested, anyway. And DANG I felt stupid to slash out like these. But that's life.

Speaking of which, please let people in ICCF know that I have follow Joan's step and switched to Pixnet. It is a bit easier to manage comparing to Wretch. Or maybe that's just because I'm using FireFox. Who know.

p.s. I'm thinking about going on a trip to Tioman on Monday and Tuesday, since we do get the days off in honer of Chinese New Year.
