Celtic music is one of my favorite genre. Celtic music is most often heard with fantasy movies, King Arthur and the likes, and sometimes in bars, like the famous Irish Drinking Song.
A good place to start for people who's interested in step into the world of the Celtic music would be listening to the music of The Corrs.
The Corrs is a family pop band that play a interesting mix of Celtic and Pop/Rock music styles, using instruments like violin, tin whistle and the like. The youngest of the siblings is the lead vocalist, and provides beautiful voices that brought their songs to life, and the second eldest sibling provides a rare mix of violin performance with popular music. There is always one or two traditional Irish songs included at the end of the album like the one included below.
Rebel Heart by The Corrs, a beautifully composed instrumental
Toss the Feather, another great, energetic instrumental
Haste to the Wedding, a light, joyful instrumental
Now we're done with the more modern Celtic influenced music, let's listen to some more traditional Celtic music,
I couldn't remember the name of the fantasy movie music that's considered Celtic influenced except for May It Be by Enya.
P.S. I'm no expert with Celtic music, so my interpretation might be wrong and categorize some of the music wrongly, correct me if I do make any mistake.
