Wolf Can Fly, Too

I do apologize for the possible poor spelling, though, as I am not wearing my eye glasses. And I know Professor Hu would be reading.

So, updates. I have pretty much settled into the work place, start running simulations and stuff. The first few weeks in Singapore was spent running experiments, but since the instrument proved to be unstable and gives inconsistent readings, the experimentation was put aside and simulation began.

That means another learning process, this time a lot steeper since little to no documentations exist for the open-source CFD solver by the name of OpenFoam. I guess that is just part of how British do things. Anyway, I have had some success in running simple simulations, but I will need to read into the source code more to figure out how to setup the full simulations.

This should get better as I get more accustomed to the program and the programming language, I guess.

I do miss ICCF and vineyard, though. It is hard to describe, but I do miss the atmosphere in ICCF; and I miss the service style, and the coffee, from Vineyard. The church here is, well, too Asian. I guess I just got too Americanized, not sure if that is a good thing or not. It's also hard to fit into a small group that is off campus. Oh, well, we'll see what happens.

Well, that is all I can think of for now, I'll update the next time something interesting happens. Oh, and I went to Outback today to have some meat intake. The local cuisines here simply do not have enough meet in them. That's all, over and out.
