So, what is a typical day in CFD lab like, you asked?
That is a tough question.
You see, us CFD engineers prefer to spend most of our time in front of familiar computer in a familiar surrounding. And that place is definitely not our office, aka. CFD lab.
So, on any given day that you walked into our lab, the chances of meeting a live human being is slim at best. Well, if you count me out, that is. Back in Champaign, our office is, well, "our" office, meaning that we work, we socialize, we do stuff there. Here, well, people simply didn't spend enough time there to be comfortable with the surrounding.
Might be the lack of effort on our part, of course. Besides, it is advisable to stay away from those high power electrical appliance/server anyway, you never know what those EM waves might do to your brain, right?
