It's my birthday.
But the day went on as usual.
Going to work, messing with the equipments, and typing random command into the Linux machine and hope that it wouldn't mess the system up. Yeah, the usual.
It turned out that the data I took yesterday was not exactly in the range that we are looking for, so I had to redo the experiment. I never knew that water temperature can rise so fast after passing through the pump, but the data is good enough.
Anyway, the day dragged on with more data gathering, more computer setup, and more staring at the ceiling hoping that it is time to get off work.
I went to the small group meeting last night, it feels, humm...kind of like a blend of prayer meeting and fellowship meeting we've had in Champaign, but the Singlish will take some time to get used to. Maybe I should transfer to a Chinese small group. One thing about Singaporean, though, is that their Chinese is not much better than their English...which sucks for me 'cause I have a really hard time getting used to people who speaks with an accent (based on the fact that many people said that mid-western English has the least accent).
The day was just so uneventful, that I was surprised to see everyone's birthday wishes on my wall on facebook. I think this is the most birthday wishes I've got from my friends, ever. I will miss all of you guys. Here's my wish for the birthday, that we will all keep in touch, and that our friendship will last. Thanks ^________^.
